Australians (and Malaysians with friends and fam in Australia), rejoice: French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier is collaborating with Target Australia. An exclusive range of men's and women's clothing and homewares will be available online and in stores around Australia early next year.

"I have looked for inspiration in many ways but one of the constants is the street and what people are wearing. I believe in fashion that you can wear every-day not just on a catwalk - which is really what Target stands for at its core - which made it the right retail partner for me to choose to bring this range to market in Australia" muses Jean Paul on his vision for wearable street style.

Target has previously collaborated with other designers like Stella McCartney and Missoni, for collections that were super wearable but at the same time marked with the designer's iconic style. For this collection, we're envisioning leather jackets, elaborately tattooed prints and duvet covers emblazoned with his iconic insignia.

We'll update you on the exact launch date, but in the mean time, start commissioning rellies in Oz for shopping duty.
