J.W. Anderson wins big at the British Fashion Awards 2015
Find out which designers won accolades for their outstanding work
The British Fashion Awards took place at the London Coliseum last night, where J.W. Anderson took home both of the biggest awards: Menswear Designer and Womenswear Designer. He also won Menswear Designer last year, during which Erdem claimed the Womenswear award. This time, however, Erdem was honoured with the Establishment Designer accolade.
Speaking of Erdem, his designs seemed to be a favourite with celebrities on the red carpet that night. However, it wasn't the Turkish-English designer who snagged the Red Carpet award; it was Tom Ford, who was absent from the event.
New Establishment Designer went to Mary Katrantzou while Stella McCartney won Best Brand. Christopher Bailey picked up the Creative Campaign award for Burberry, as Charlotte Olympia was crowned Accessory Designer.
While Karl Lagerfeld was presented the Outstanding Achievement Award for his contribution to the industry, Alessandro Michele was recognised as International Designer for his work at Gucci. Also, Jourdan Dunn, who recently appeared in the H&M Holiday campaign alongside Katy Perry, beat Malaika Firth and Georgia May-Jagger to win the Model of the Year award.
