J Crew to launch lower-priced line

J Crew is reportedly launching a new, lower-priced line called J Crew Mercantile

Rejoice, lovers of mixed prints and and tapered trousers! It’s been confirmed that J Crew has acquired the name J Crew Mercantile and sources say that this is set to be the brand’s lower-priced line. Not to be confused with Madewell, J Crew’s sister label that targets a slightly younger demographic, J Crew Mercantile will be more closely aligned with the J Crew aesthetic and will apparently feature merchandise and pricing closer to the brand’s outlet store J Crew Factory. Now all we need is J Crew to start shipping to Malaysia...
