Saint Laurent made its debut on Instagram three days ago with a series of Hedi Slimane's Music Portrait videos that hinted about something big going on in Los Angeles next month. It was then announced that the creative director will present his AW16 menswear collection and "Part 1" of his womenswear collection at the Hollywood Palladium on 10 February, a day before New York Fashion Week kicks off on the other side of the States.

The second part of Hedi's womenswear show will still be presented during his regular slot at Paris Fashion Week on 7 March 2016.

A series of tweets accompanied the announcement, elaborating on the significance of Los Angeles and the Palladium for the fashion house, as well as the timeliness of this move to Hollywood.

We expect that Hedi already has a number of musical guests who will perform at what is set to be an extraordinary show.
