Exciting news for everyone who loves queuing up – H&M has officially confirmed that Alexander Wang is on board for this year’s designer collaboration. H&M has been rolling out collaboration after successful collaboration in recent years, most recently 2013’s massively hyped Isabel Marant collection that sold out in days.

“I am honoured to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations,” Alexander Wang said in a statement. “The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to pushing boundaries and to setting a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.”

The Alexander Wang x H&M collection will feature womenswear and menswear, and is set to officially launch in 250 H&M stores worldwide on November 6. That’s a long time to wait, and we’re already dreaming up the possibilities – we think the sleek utilitarian lines and sporty feel of his AW14 collection would translate very well to a high street line. We’re also hoping for accessories bristling with (functional) hardware, and laser-cut leather, and neon-piped outerwear, and chevron-decked sweater dresses. And no, we’re not good at tempering our expectations. Bring it, Alex.
