Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle website, Goop has just introduced its new CEO, Lisa Gersh. She is to lead the brand on a move towards becoming more well-rounded, starting with an expansion in its fashion line.

Having collaborated with other designers in the past, Goop is now ready to make its own stand in fashion, in addition to its future projects with Stella McCartney and Diane Von Furstenberg.

"We have a brand. Now it's time to build the business to that level," Lisa said in an interview. The e-commerce site is also to begin global shipping, and hopes to launch its own beauty and home range as well. "We've seen the mistakes out there," she added. "We'll take small steps."

Lisa used to be CEO and president of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and was introduced to Gwyneth by celebrity fitness instructor, Tracy Anderson.
