In another universe, aliens look better in Gucci
Alessandro Michele used aliens, dinosaurs, swamp monsters and 'Star Trek' elements in his latest campaign for Gucci
Every season, Gucci gifts us with a campaign that blows our minds whether with old-school aesthetics or a stellar soundtrack. And the latest campaign is as beautiful as it is bizarre, just like its predecessors.
Filmed once again by Glen Luchford and directed by Alessandro Michele, the Autumn Winter 2017 campaign makes references to sci-fi movies from the 50s and the 60s, including cult classic Star Trek, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and any movie with a UFO out to abduct cows.
Expect extra-terrestrial creatures dressed top-to-toe in Gucci, dinosaurs on Earth, psychedelic outer space landscapes and retro spaceship interiors, with music by Vic Elms and Barry Gray's Space 1999.
Scroll on to see more photos from the campaign and see how many movie references you can identify.
