You can count on Giorgio Armani to throw the one of the classiest parties ever – he's made a name for himself designing effortlessly elegant clothes after all. Last week, the 80-year-old designer celebrated 40 years at the helm of his label with a tour of Armani/Silos, the new four-level exhibition dedicated to his illustrious career, followed by a special fashion show and after-party.

The Giorgio Armani Privé Fashion Show featured some of the most stunning pieces from Giorgio Armani's last 10 years, including the Maraja collection from 2007, Chine from 2009 to this year's Bamboo, and was attended by the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Sophia Loren, Tina Turner, Hilary Swank and Cate Blanchett, who wore a chic white Armani suit with a black belt. Aside from the bash, Giorgio also shared that he is publishing an autobiography with Rizzoli in September.
