Frida Giannini, Creative Director, and Patrizio di Marco, Chief Executive Officer, are leaving Gucci, it has been announced.

A statement from parent company Kering SA today said Di Marco will be replaced by Marco Bizzarri, head of the group's luxury couture and leathergoods division, effective January 1. Giannini will depart at the end of February after presenting her AW 2015 collection.

Giannini has led the Italian label since 2006, while Di Marco joined from sister company Bottega Veneta in 2009.

Kering CEO Francois-Henri Pinault said in a statement: "I enjoyed working with Patrizio."
