Frances Bean Cobain is the face of Marc Jacobs' SS17 campaign
The daughter of Courtney Love and late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain has scored her first huge fashion campaign
The trend of celebrity offspring landing major fashion campaigns continues to gather speed. Last week it was Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, in Chanel, and this week Frances Bean Cobain stars in Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer 2017 campaign. The daughter of Courtney Love and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was revealed as the face of Jacobs' campaign via Instagram.
"I have always wanted to work with Frances," Jacobs wrote beneath the campaign image, which was shot by David Sims. "Her beauty, uniqueness, and strength is something I have long admired and respected. Few things remain as constant as my continued inspiration from those whose honesty, integrity, courage, and curiousity lead them to explore and venture beyond preconceived boundaries."
Jacobs has known Frances since she was two, and previously featured her mother in his Fall 2016 campaign.
