First look at Victoria's Secret x Balmain
Creative director Olivier Rousteing is giving us Victoria's Secret Angels like we've never seen before
Last month, Victoria's Secret announced that it's collaborating with French fashion house Balmain for the upcoming annual fashion show. With just two weeks until the big runway show, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing gave us a glimpse of what to expect. Let's just say, there's just too much metal-accent magic to handle!
In the clip above, it's revealed that there'll be a punk rock section in the show. You can trust Rousteing to bring the collection to couture level with his signature use of studs, pins and zips as well as embroidered and bedazzled accents.
It's evident that Rousteing is pumped about his collaboration with the beloved lingerie brand. "We believe in the same kind of a woman – a powerful lady, a strong and confident sexy girl that knows what she wants," he explained.
As the exclusive VS x Balmain collection will be available in stores and on the VS website come 29 November, the designer promises it'll be a collaboration to remember: "We work together to make sure that it's going to be a big shock and they [the public] will be like oh wow, Balmain and Victoria's Secret together is like magic."
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs on 28 November on CBS.
