First look: Marques' Almeida x Topshop
Marques'Almeida are bringing the distressed denim, neon chiffon and faux fur for their Topshop collaboration, out on October 9
If you've always lusted after a piece of Marques'Almeida, looks like your wishes are about to come true. The Marques'Almeida and Topshop collaboration will hit the shelves on October 9 and we have the first look at the collection.
Marques' Almeida's designers Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida launched the label in 2011 and are known for their soft frayed denim, shredded and distressed denim, leather, fur and rave neon noughties inspired apparel, and we'll be getting all that in the collaboration collection.
"This collaboration with Topshop was one of the most fun things we’ve worked on. We’ve always focused our research around teenagers and what we call the “youth code” of dressing since we started the brand, working on this collection meant we could go back and dig deep into those archives, finding old editions of i-D and The Face, Corinne Day and Kate Moss shoots. Sofia (Marta’s sister) and our friends played a big part in forming this collection, as it was all about what we really want to wear! We can’t wait to see the end result in stores and online!” said the designers.
Marques' Almeida and Topshop collaboration collection will be available at Topshop Suria KLCC and Topshop Mid Valley Megamall on October 9.
