The lucky people at New York Times got a rifle through Joseph Altuzarra's debut collaboration with Target and judging from the pictures, we're very excited. The moodboard shows scraps of sequinned and sheer fabrics, with peasant-style print and embroidery and a dash of jade-green snakeskin. Also tassels and folk-style full skirts and peasant blouses.

For those worried about the quality and finish of the products, don't be. NYT claims the designer is a stickler for detail. 'He asked for and got refinements, including fabric-covered buttons, French seaming in the garment’s underside as well as strategically placed darts, and the elaborately asymmetrical construction that would give his skirts their swing.'

The collection will be available on Net-a-Porter from September 14. Prices start at $18 for clothing and lingerie, and $30 for shoes and accessories.
