Etihad Airways to sponsor 17 fashion week events all over the world

The airline will be supporting the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Australia

Etihad Airways has been announced as the official airline of Fashion Week. As part of the collaboration with WME/IMG, the airline will sponsor 17 fashion week events all over the world including in New York, London, Milan, Berlin, Sydney and Mumbai.

For starters, Etihad will be supporting Oscar de la Renta's first runway show in Sydney, Australia as part of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. According to WWD, Cynthia Rowley will also show at the event that's to run from 5 May to 20 May 2016.

"This is a ground-breaking new partnership for Etihad Airways," said James Hogan, president and CEO of Etihad Airways. "Together with WME/IMG, we have created a unique marketing relationship that now connects the international fashion community across our key markets."
