Emporio Armani heads to Paris for SS17 show
The Italian maison will present its womenswear collection in the French capital instead of in Milan
Giorgio Armani is moving his Emporio Armani Spring Summer 2017 womenswear show to Paris, vacating his usual slot at Milan Fashion Week.
"The restyling of the store and the EA Caffé in Saint-Germain (in Paris) have provided the opportunity to rethink the location and timing of the show," Armani said in a statement.
Paris Fashion Week is shaping up to be a week to watch; recently-appointed Lanvin artistic director Bouchra Jarrar will show her first collection for the house then.
