It's the dress that keeps on giving. DVF is having a bumper celebration year, as it's the 40th anniversary of the wrap dress, and the latest in the festivities is a monthly chat with international DvF-clad 'influencers'.

Kicking off the series is Emma Roberts, who took her chain link wrap dress for a walk on the beach in Malibu. “I am honoured to be an influencer for DVF’s Journey of the Dress to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Diane’s iconic wrap dress,” Emma said. “Diane has always been a huge influence in my own personal style and has been a trailblazer for women everywhere.  The fact that her iconic style is still more relevant than ever in film, television and culture makes this an exciting moment to be a part of this celebratory event."

"The power of the wrap dress comes from women around the world. How they have worn it, what they’ve accomplished, and how it has made them feel,” says Diane von Furstenberg. “Every woman has her own style and point of view and I am very excited to see where these women take the dress and how they each make it their own!"
