Edie Campbell stars in Lanvin AW14 campaign with her family and horse
It's a Campbell family affair unlike any other for Lanvin AW14
As far as Chinese zodiacs go, we're getting Edie Campbell's equestrian references here; the model was born in 1990, a year of the horse, and she is an accomplished horse rider. The result: not just one, but two ad campaigns in which there are horses; the latest being Lanvin's Autumn Winter 2014 campaign.
How else to celebrate the fashion house's fundamental mother-daughter logo than to give it a familial update? The campaign has proven to be a fabulous affair, topped with a short film of Edie, her family, and her horse, Dolly. Tim Walker photographed the campaign while Guy Stephens filmed and edited the video.
Edie, her father Roddy, mother Sophie, sister Olympia, brother Arthur (who we'd like to point out has his mullet of the century braided), grandma Joan, grandfather Jeremy, boyfriend Otis, and Olympia's boyfriend Matteo, all get a few Lanvin wardrobe changes in between their playful romps.
We half-expected to see Edie trot with Dolly, but the horse was a wee bit shy. How cool is it though, to have Lanvin make a family video for you, with a certain creative director making a cameo at the end?
