Edie Campbell and Callum Turner star in new Burberry campaign
Burberry collaborates with British artist Luke Edward Hall on a series of quirky portraits and illustrations
It's been ten years since Edie Campbell started working with Burberry, and now she looks as cool as ever in a new campaign alongside Victor Frankenstein star Callum Turner, whose relationship with the brand began in 2011.
The Burberry ad also features The Patchwork bag, first seen on the runway at London Fashion Week in February. Mario Testino shot the campaign, which is complemented by whimsical original artwork by 26-year-old British artist Luke Edward Hall – he sketched Edie and Callum, as well as the bags. The campaign film, accompanied by the enigmatic Benjamin Clementine singing Adios, gives us a glimpse behind the scenes of Luke painting and drawing. His work will also be displayed at Burberry's flagship store on 121 Regent Street in London from 11 June until the end of the month.
"Luke is a great talent and it has been wonderful working and collaborating with him on our campaign. His beautiful illustrations next to Mario's powerful photographs capture the artisanal spirit of the collection," Burberry CEO Christopher Bailey said. This collection is also the first to be under a single unified Burberry label.
