Disney asks 9 shoe designers to create Cinderella’s glass slipper
Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood and Charlotte Olympia among the designers enlisted to re-imagine the iconic glass slipper
To celebrate the upcoming release of Disney's live action film inspired by the classic fairytale Cinderella, Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has asked nine shoe designers to create their own versions of the famous glass slipper that changes Cinderella's life.

Designers Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood (main picture), Charlotte Olympia, Jerome C. Rousseau, and Stuart Weitzman all created their own interpretation, while Swarovski provided the crystals used.

The shoes will be available for order in Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and Beverly Hills, Harrods in London, Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo, and some of the brands' own stores from March, the same month the film arrives in theatres.
