Diane von Furstenberg has long been a friend of Google Glass, having sent a few of her models down her Spring/Summer 2013 runway wearing Google Glass to record the show from the models' perspectives. After that pioneering stunt, we can't say we didn't this collaboration coming.

ELLE.com revealed that Diane will unveil her DVF | Made for Glass collection (where else but) on the runway at her 2015 resort collection. Google Glass announced the launch on Twitter.

"It is a computer on your brow... That's what it is," the 67-year-old explained.

The Belgian-born designer admitted to ELLE US fashion news director Anne Slowey that she's lucky to be "old enough to have danced in Studio 54 and young not to not to have missed the digital revolution." Really, what would the fashion world be without the tweeting, Instagramming Diane Von Furstenberg?

"So get your Google Glass," was the only thing Diane needed to say to convince us to do exactly that. The collection will be available on google.com/glass as well as Net-A-Porter on 23 June so we may have a chance to get our hands on a pair or five soon.
