The ubiquitous Chanel Boy bag is going to have a time-telling friend because for the first time since 2000, the French label is launching a new ladies' watch.

Meet the Boy.Friend watch, which according to WWD comes in two sizes, each with three versions: "18-carat beige gold, with or without diamonds, or in 18-carat white gold set with diamonds." All watches feature alligator straps, while the jewelled version has the plus of having a matching diamond-trimmed buckle.

The watch is minimalistic, just like any trend we steal from the boys, so everything about the Boy.Friend is clean and angular. Of course, we can't do without a date window, so there's one at the 6 o' clock marker.

The watch is scheduled for a September global release, so fingers (and wrists?) crossed that it includes Malaysia.

And you know what, ladies? There's even an official hashtag for the watch. It's #meetmyboyfriend. Let the fashion envy begin.
