Carven artistic directors exit
Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud leave the label after just four seasons
Carven is on the lookout for another artistic director, as its designer duo Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud have parted ways with the label "by mutual agreement," according to a statement from the brand.
The duo had succeeded Guillaume Henry, who left Carven to join Nina Ricci in late 2014. Carven has not made any comments about who might take over their posts, but only noted that a new artistic director will be announced later on.
Martial and Caillaudaud met at Paris fashion school Atelier Chardon Savard and both used to work at Givenchy – Martial as a knitwear designer and Caillaudaud as an accessories designer. They have not revealed any plans following their departure from Carven.
