Singaporean marketplace app Carousell has launched its own website with the aim to reach a wider audience. Founded by three friends, Quek Siu Rui, Marcus Tan and Lucas Ngoo, the Carousell app has become well known for its simple interface and its feature that allows users to shop and sell items easily.

The newly launched website will no doubt become a huge hit; there have already been 140 million page views prior to its announcement!

"We are thrilled at the response that we've received for our web platform and we see this as a great opportunity for us to introduce a new platform to help our sellers reach buyers more effectively and to enhance our community's Carousell experience on the whole," said co-founder Quek.

"People who would never have met or even said 'Hi' to each other otherwise are now friends, business partners are more! It's these serendipitous relationships being formed that really keep us going," added Lucas.
