Calvin Harris is Emporio Armani's leading man
The Scottish music producer fronts the Italian label's apparel, watch and eyewear line for Spring Summer 2015
Keep the dollar signs rolling. Not only is Calvin Harris Forbes' ninth highest-paid musician this year, he's now also inked a deal with Emporio Armani as its new ambassador, face, leading man – whatever you want to call it. We're calling him all of that because just look at the man now.
The 6'5" DJ-singer flaunts his unshaven good looks in the SS15 campaign, which Boo George shot in Los Angeles. Calvin will also represent the brand's eyewear and watch line in ads scheduled to roll out worldwide in January 2015.
"It's incredible to be working with Mr Armani and his team at Emporio Armani. I feel an affinity to the brand ethos and have been a long time admirer of their designs," the 30-year-old said.
Giorgio Armani shares this sentiment, saying that "Calvin Harris is a truly cosmopolitan, dynamic young man who is capable of attracting the masses with his music and energy. He isn't a model by nature, and this creates a more sincere and engaging bond with the public."
True, with multiple music awards (including a Grammy win) under his belt, Calvin has come far from his early days in the music industry. Not to mention that he's gotten, cough, that much more chiselled (this is a startling 6-year transformation, if you ask us).
