Bell & Ross and luxury timepiece distributor Cortina Watch have teamed up for a pop-up store at Suria KLCC. Held all month long, the pop-up showcases the new BR-X2 Tourbillon Micro Rotor watch as well as the BR-X1 collection.

The BR-X2 Tourbillon Micro Rotor features a skeleton dial, with a tourbillon at 6 o'clock. For those unfamiliar with horology, a tourbillon is an additional device in a watch that works to counter the effects of gravity on the watch's mechanics, thereby improving its time-telling accuracy. The use of tourbillons in watches today is less for its technical use, and more for its ornamental value – it is typically employed by luxury Swiss and European watchmakers, whose customers value the craftsmanship behind tourbillons.

Bell & Ross's BR-X2 Tourbillon Micro Rotor embodies the art of watch-making, boasting a sleek polished steel case, grey alligator strap, and a tourbillon bearing the brand's ampersand logo. Only 99 units are available worldwide, priced at RM284,000 each.

The Bell & Ross KLCC pop-up runs from 1 August to 31 August 2017 at Lot 106A on Level 1.
