Balmain is launching a children's line
You no longer have to be Kim Kardashian to get your kid decked out in Balmain
Olivier Rousteing is launching a children's line with Balmain, out in June. The campaign photos shared on his Instagram account feature a funky bunch of kids wearing his signature cavalry jackets, peacoats and boots.
The good news is all your kids can get the jacket-tutu North West look now – you don't have to be Kimye, just filthy rich. "These are the same looks that, over the years, moms and dads have repeatedly pleaded with me to produce for their kids," Olivier told WWD.
The 55 pieces for boys and girls, aged 6 to 14, will be designed in-house, in looks similar to his runway ensembles we're so accustomed to seeing. And if the ad (plus the totally unpretentious, cool kids in it) is anything to go by, there's nothing cutesy or or saccharine sweet in sight.
An embroidered black dress goes for 5,500 euros (a whopping approx. RM25,500), so we envision loads of celebrity kids and rich brats roaming around in Balmain.
