Last month, it was announced that Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing would be collaborating with the Paris Opera, designing costumes for the new ballet, Renaissance. Working closely with choreographer Sébastien Bertraud, Olivier created costumes straight out of a ballerina's (and fashion lover's) dream.

Throughout last week, fans were given a sneak peek via Instagram of the gorgeous designs: nude leotards and tights embellished with rhinestones and pearls with equally exquisite matching beaded jackets (ones we imagine the ballerinas won't mind wearing off-duty). Just yesterday, new videos were posted, allowing us a closer look at the costumes in motion. They might have been designed for the stage, but we're dreaming of a spin-off collection we can shop one day, please, Olivier.

Renaissance will show at the Opera Garnier in Paris from 13 to 19 June 2017. Unless you've already booked your tickets, enjoy the videos on repeat.
