Swiss luxury fashion house Bally has announced the appointment of a new director, Pablo Coppola. Pablo will be directing every aspect of the men’s and women’s collections, including shoes, bags, small leather goods, ready-to-wear and eyewear, heading a design team of 15.

Previous to the appointment, Bally has worked with Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Burberry and Céline.

“Pablo’s attitude to design is both aligned with Bally’s legacy as well as our plans for tomorrow,” Bally CEO Frédéric de Narp said. “It is an authentic approach to luxury fashion and one that encompasses quality, craftsmanship and a pioneering spirit unique to our 163-year-old brand.”

“I believe in Bally,” Pablo himself said. “With the team we are already pushing the brand forward and letting the product speak for itself. We are creating a softer style of luxury where products are made for real people.”
