Balenciaga has announced its first ever menswear runway show, scheduled for 22 June at Menswear Paris Fashion Week. While the brand's womenswear division is a Paris Fashion Week regular, its men's collections have only ever been shown in presentation format.

"The show will debut the masculine vision of Balenciaga's new artistic director Demna Gvasalia," the company said in a statement yesterday.

According to WWD, Balenciaga's new move comes in an attempt to focus on the growing importance of menswear. If Gvasalia's first collection for Balenciaga was any indication, we're all in for another stunning show (expect to want to borrow from the boys).
