BTS: Jean-Paul Goude shoots the Kenzo x H&M campaign
See more looks from the collection as worn by the cast, which includes Rosario Dawson, Iman and ChloŰ Sevigny
The Kenzo x H&M collaboration just keeps getting bigger and bigger, not that the staggered reveal of the collection isn't keeping us on tiptoes already. Acclaimed photographer Jean-Paul Goude was made in charge of the campaign, which boasts an impressive cast.
In a video from behind the scenes, we get precious glimpses at the collection, including that frilled dress (lucky Chloe Sevigny gets to wear it) and a broad-shouldered jacket we'll be talking about for ages (seen on Suboi at 1:12).
"We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for KENZO x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection," said Kenzo creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon.
Goude's work for the campaign will be released on 17 October ahead of the collection reaching stores worldwide on 3 November. The cast features rapper Suboi, music composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, actress Chloë Sevigny, musician Chance The Rapper, supermodel Iman, actress Rosario Dawson and environmental activist Xiuhtezcatl Martinez (all pictured below, left to right).
"Working with H&M and Carol and Humberto on the KENZO x H&M campaign is a real adventure," the photographer said. "I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style."
