Alessandro Michele directs the Gucci AW15 campaign
The Gucci creative director takes his second campaign to the streets
Photographed by Glen Luchford and styled by Joe McKenna, Alessandro Michele's second campaign for Gucci is taken outdoors, for the most part.
With the subway and sunlit streets as his playground, this is the first time the creative director has his very own Gucci collection featured in a campaign. The last campaign he directed was for the Pre-Fall 2015 collection, which was designed by Frida Giannini before her departure.
"I wanted to interpret an attitude not a silhouette. Through a perspective that blurs the masculine/feminine divide and champions the youthful energy and natural confidence of today's urbanites," Alessandro said. "Through this collection I tried to record not merely the present, but the threshold between the 'no longer' and the 'not yet.'"
