Acne Studios' AW15 women's campaign star is a 12-year-old boy

For Acne Studios' AW15 womenswear campaign, creative director Jonny Johansson cast his own 12-year-old son Frasse to model key pieces from his collection.
"The cut, the shape and the character of the garment is the crucial thing, rather than seeking approval from society or to follow set norms," the designer told WWD. "I immediately pictured Frasse, since he embodies this new breed to me. I asked him and I'm happy that he wanted to be a part of the campaign."
While Frasse prefers football to modelling, he enjoyed working with his father.
"Walking in high heels is so hard, and I don't understand how anyone can walk in them," Frasse told WWD. "Playing football is more my thing but it was great fun to do it. And I got to hang out with my dad."
Getting a young boy to model women's clothes is an unusual concept, but once you think about the brand's tendency to gender-bend – its latest menswear collection is no exception – it is really not that shocking.
