A look at Atelier Versace Haute Couture SS15
Donatella Versace sends out a bold collection of colour and swirly cut-outs, with plenty of exposed skin
You can leave it to Donatella Versace to bring sultriness to couture. Yesterday, that's exactly what she did, by putting on a peek-a-boo show of crisp one-shouldered suits, flowing dresses and sheer gowns.
The Atelier Versace Haute Couture Spring 2015 collection was showcased by some of the most 'womanly' women walking catwalks today (and yesterday, in fact), with the likes of Karlie Kloss, Eva Herzigova, Amber Valetta, Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls all on the runway. Where a shoulder wasn't missing from a blazer, or a gown didn't have a see-through swirl that ran dangerously close to making one blush, a trio of playfully embroidered mini-dresses changed things up. Donatella kept each look single-coloured, with royal blue, red, white and black making up most of the collection.
Four body-hugging gowns in the middle of a series of all-black pieces were the only exceptions to the colour palette. These included what was arguably the most revealing dress of the entire collection: a beaded, fish-net gown we believe belongs in Rihanna's wardrobe (unless of course she's grown out of her 'naked dress' phase).
Back to the event itself, Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Ellie Goulding and her boyfriend, the McFly bassist Dougie Poynter, David Furnish and Michelle Rodriguez were all spotted front row, with Kate wearing a shorter version of the mesh cut-out, one-sleeved red dress that Eva wore so well on the catwalk.

Noting that awards season is only midway through, we won't be surprised if we see some of these bright Atelier Versace gowns on the red carpet. The only question will be, who dares to bare?
