After what feels like forever, the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones is set to grace our TV screens on 16 July. As if the year-long build-up has not been enough for you, we've put together seven Game of Thrones-related things to get you pumped up.

Lilly Singh parodies Game of Thrones characters
Comedienne Lilly Singh aka Superwoman's hilarious video basically summarises everything we'd do if we were on the show. From getting all the characters mixed up to getting drunk from wine, the YouTube star proves that she knows what's up. For more laughs, watch her other videos – the Jon SnowKhaleesi and Cersei Lannister rap diss tracks. So good.

Emilia Clarke reads funny Game of Thrones theories
When she's not playing the badass Khaleesi on-screen, Emilia Clarke's all giggles and charm, as seen in this video for ELLE USA. The actress, who stars on the cover of the magazine's August issue, reads absurd fan theories and reacts with with her super expressive eyebrows. You can't help but fall even more in love with her. Our favourite reaction: "I'm on fireeeeee."

Experiment on some Westerosi cuisine
Foodies out there can sample a taste of Westeros, thanks to YouTuber/chef Oliver Babish, who recreates food seen on TV shows and film. Oliver takes on dishes from Game of Thrones like the pigeon pie from Margaery and Joffrey's wedding in season 4 and Dothraki blood pie. Mmm blood pie.

Party in the real-life Astapor
In the series, Astapor (the Red City) is where Daenerys first meets the Unsullied and later on, she conquers it. In real life, the Moroccan city of Essaouira acts as the backdrop for Astapor; Essaouira is also home to the electronic music MOGO Festival. The festival happens this October, so you still have time to save up and party like Khaleesi.

Aww, these guys clean up nice, don't they? It's always refreshing to see GoT characters not dirty and sweaty like they are on the show. More importantly, how cute are Kit Harington and Rose Leslie together? (#RIPYgrittetheWilding)

Choke on this massive spoiler
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. While season 6 left us guessing that both Jon Snow and Daenerys are probably about to cross paths, it was still just that – a guess. However, the show's costume designer Michele Clapton basically revealed in an interview that they will in fact meet. BUT HOW? WHERE? WHEN? So many questions.

The seventh season of Game of Thrones airs on 16 July 2017 on HBO.
