Zoolander 2 bleached Benedict Cumberbatch's eyebrows

It's like we don't even know him anymore

The Zoolander 2 trailer gave us the biggest surprise of the year: Benedict Cumberbatch plays All, "the biggest supermodel in the whole world," whose gender is, for lack of a better word, ambiguous. Also, he has long black hair and his eyebrows are bleached.

Bleached, you guys.

The next 15 seconds may right over your heads as you try to recover from an unrecognisable Benedict, but a simple replay will inform you that Penélope Cruz plays an Interpol agent who seeks help from Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel McDonald (Owen Wilson) to take on returning villain Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell).

Some of the world's most beautiful people in the world also make an appearance in the film. Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Usher and Miley Cyrus are all assassinated, but not before they take a selfie, wearing Derek's signature Blue Steel look. Kristin Wiig is also unrecognisable – even more so than Benedict – as a severe-looking woman called Alexanya Atoz.

A Malaysian premiere date has not yet been announced, but we can expect the film to reach cinemas within the first quarter of next year.
