'Finding Dory' gets its first trailer
Our "just keep swimming" chants have finally paid off
Ellen DeGeneres premiered the Finding Dory trailer on her show last night. In the Finding Nemo sequel, we get a glimpse of Dory teaching a school of young fish about stingray migration before she is overwhelmed by memories of her family – memories she had forgotten about until now.
Dory, voiced by Ellen, then embarks on a journey to look for her mother and father, voiced by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy respectively. Her best friends, Marlin and Nemo tag along too. The trailer introduces us to a few new characters like Bailey the Beluga whale and Destiny the whale shark. Sure, we're grown-ups, but the sequel for one of everyone's favourite Pixar films turns us all into children, especially when there is an adorable whale shark involved.
Finding Dory opens in local cinemas on 21 July 2016.
