The Ransom Riggs novel we all fell in love with finally has a trailer. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is about a young boy called Jacob Portman (Asa Butterfield) who stumbles upon an isolated island that is home to a host of very odd children with extraordinary abilities.

He meets Miss Peregrine (Eva Green), the children's caretaker, and eventually helps her protect the kids from the vicious creatures that prey on their abilities. With Tim Burton at the helm, we've no doubt that the film will meet our expectations, if not surpass them.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children arrives in cinemas on 30 September. While we wait for a Malaysian date to be announced, see some of the film stills below.
