Watch the first teaser for 'The Good Dinosaur'

In the new Pixar film, that deadly meteor did not hit Earth

If you believe in the butterfly effect, you'd understand that it would not have taken a lot for the circumstances surrounding the meteor strike that wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago to change. In The Good Dinosaur, that's exactly what happened. Or rather, didn't happen.

Nope, no meteor strike to see here, folks, but there is plenty to see in terms of Pixar's take on dinosaurs other than Rex in Toy Story. The result: completely not-scary T-rexes (sure, they roar, but they're adorable) and a wobbly Apatosaurus, who is the star of the show. We already love it.

The Good Dinosaur opens in Malaysian cinemas on 26 November 2015.
