We are very excited about Disney's upcoming animated film Moana. Why? Let's count the reasons.

1. Princess Moana Waialiki is the first ever Polynesian Disney princess.
2. Moana's voice actor Auli'i Cravalho is absolutely charming.
3. Dwayne Johnson plays a demigod named Maui.

4. Maui moves like lightning.
5. Dwayne Johnson is already considered a demi-god for real, so this is perfect.
6. Moana has an adorable pig.
7. The pig is adorable.
8. The pig is going to be the best part of Disney's merchandising for Moana.

9. The music (some of which was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda) is going to make it easier for us to cry.
10. Take our money, Disney (not really a reason, but who's counting?).

Moana is the story of a young and adventurous princess, who teams up with a has-been demigod named Maui to navigate the ocean and fulfil the ancient quest of her ancestors: to discover the islands of Oceania. Moana opens in cinemas on 24 November 2016.
