We didn't actually watch the 'It' teaser trailer

Just tell us what happens because we're too scared to see it for ourselves

Stephen King's horror novel It has a new film adaptation and it's going to give you a fresh new wave of fear of balloons, clowns, and drains. The teaser opens with a little boy named Georgie who gets lured down a drain by the demon clown Pennywise, played by Bill Skarsgård. When Georgie disappears, his elder brother Bill forms a group with the other neighbourhood kids (including Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard) to find him and vanquish the demon.

This is actually a little like Stranger Things, but the Demogorgon's got nothing on the clown. We're this kid with the inhaler and we haven't even hit 'Play'.

It is slated for release on 8 September 2017, but there's no word of a Malaysian premiere date yet.
