Top stories: Matthew Lewis shocks us all
Neville Longbottom and the Cannes Film Festival red carpet have us in awe as this week proves to be big on collaboration news
J.K. Rowling will never be able to un-see Matthew Lewis's shoot for Attitude magazine, in which he bares not all, but enough to send your imagination running wild. It's safe to say you'll never see Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter the same way again.
Flashback to earlier this week, when things were still normal, Olivier Rousteing announced that Balmain will be H&M's next collaborator. Okay, sorry, that's not exactly normal as much as insanely exciting. That's not all, because Delpozo and Net-a-Porter are als working on a collection, out in June, while J Brand's Mad Max-like capsule collection for Mytheresa is already available to shop. Also, Raya collections continue to roll out – see them all here.
The Cannes Film Festival ends this weekend, but we'll always have the red carpet outfits to look back on and admire (click here and here). Salma Hayek and Emily Blunt were at Cannes too, and they became our heroines. Find out why as you try to figure out exactly what moves Rosie Huntington-Whiteley performs in her fast forward workout video (toned abs, here we come).
Jennifer Lawrence is not happy (Photo: Jennifer Lawrence/Facebook)
Lady Gaga had quite the week. She's had more than 30 designers draw sketches for her wedding dress. What a lucky bride-to-be! Meanwhile, we found out that Rebel Wilson lied about her age, Reese Witherspoon is going to be Tinker Bell (we're not kidding), there may be hope for Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield fans (yes! yes! yes!), and Christina Aguilera does an incredible impression of Cher. But none of that can match the mixture of emotions that David Letterman fans everywhere had about his swansong at the Late Show. It drew poignant reactions from celebrities, including a sad Jennifer Lawrence.
The weekend is here and we hope you've got interesting stuff planned. If you're going to catch up on Instagram with posts of your own, you might as well learn which filters science has proven to be the best to use. In case you're in Turkey, you can practise at the newly opened (and stunning!) Soho House Istanbul.
To help you wind down, Coldplay has written a musical for Game of Thrones for Red Nose Day. Kit Harington and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau sing in it. It is brilliant. Too bad it's not going to make it to Broadway. But maybe these socks will make it to your feet. Happy weekend!
