The Mirror That Takes Your Selfies For You

The new S.E.L.F.I.E. mirror will take your selfie and upload it to Twitter for you

Ever wish you could recreate what you see in the mirror with an actual selfie? The kind folks at iStrategyLabs have been working hard to make that wish come true, with their ‘Self Enhancing Live Feed Image Engine’ aka The S.E.L.F.I.E.

In simple terms, it’s a mirror that takes your selfies and posts them to Twitter for you. The device is made up of a Mac mini and web cam hidden behind a two-way mirror, and LED lights embedded in the mirror. Facial recognition technology will ‘see’ you when you’re standing in front of the mirror and take your photo, and the LED lights show you when the shutter snaps.

The S.E.L.F.I.E. is currently in experimental stages, but you can get one for yourself from iStrategyLabs. We’re already planning some renovation around it.
