The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 debuts Panem speech

If you wanted to see Katniss Everdeen shoot something in this trailer, sorry but no. This is a Panem propaganda trailer

Wait a second, this isn't a trailer, this is a Capitol TV ad, with not even a glimpse of Katniss.

"Your hard work feeds us, and in return, we feed and protect you. But...," well of course there's a 'but', as the tyrannical President Snow (Donald Sutherland) warns rebels in his less-than-comforting PR message in the first teaser trailer of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.

Following the events from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Quarter Quell games-escapee, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) reluctantly begins her participation in the rebellion, in the hopes of demolishing the totalitarian rule of the Capitol.

The film also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer, Sam Claflin, Stanley Tucci, Jena Malone, and Gwendoline Christie (phew!).

Also, be sure not to miss who stands, unblinking and distant, next to Snow as the camera does a dramatic zoom out towards the end of the teaser. What? Why? How? All will be answered this November, hopefully.
