The 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 teaser sparks even more questions

Watching it again and again won't explain anything

Video: Game of Thrones

The Game of Thrones teaser was released just hours ago and we already have so many questions (spoiler alert!) – more questions on top of the ones like "Is Jon Snow really dead?" or "Are the White Walkers really taking over?" and "What's going to happen to Khaleesi?".

In a very creepy video set in the Hall of Faces, the faces of Ed Stark, Robb Stark, Catelyn Stark and Joffrey Baratheon – all of whom died in previous seasons – are shown, as each of their own famous quotes echo eerily.

A little background on this creepiness: the Hall of Faces contains the skinned faces of those who have died in the House of Black and White. Their faces are used by the assassins called the Faceless Men as disguises. Seeing Ed, Robb, Catelyn and Joffrey isn't very shocking since they're dead, but the faces we see after that gives us the chills because those characters are still very much alive. Except for Jon Snow, whose fate remains unknown.

Season 6 looks no different than its predecessors; expect all your favourite characters to have close brushes with death, if not fall prey to it completely. As a matter of fact, don't have any favourite characters anymore. It'll just break your heart when they are suddenly killed.

Game of Thrones Season 6 airs on 24 April 2016. While you wait, enjoy the first photos from the season here (Bran's all grown up!).
