At long last, the Beauty and the Beast trailer has finally arrived! Starring Emma Watson as the bright Belle and Dan Stevens as the grumpy Beast, the upcoming Disney remake is set to bring us on a trip down memory lane on 16 March 2017.

Moviepilot.com made a video, comparing scenes from the 1991 animation and the new trailer. It's uncanny!

Don't worry, the 2017 film will still be a little different from the original classic. In a Facebook Live Q&A session that took place after the trailer's debut, Dan explained that we'll be learning a lot more about Beast as we will with Belle.

"I suppose we see a little bit of his back story," Dan said. "We learn a little bit more about this vain spoiled, rich kid son of a billionaire who treats women like objects and lives in a ridiculous luxury tower." Emma added: "The Beast that's in our version is incredibly witty and has this very dry, English sense of humour."

Can it be 2017 already?
