Taylor Swift's new single 'Look What You Made Me Do' throws shade at Kanye West
The tilted stage and phone references haven't gone unnoticed
Taylor Swift has dropped her new single called Look What You Made Me Do. And if you've already listened to it, you'll get the hint that it's about Kanye West.
In the verse where she says 'Don't like your tilted stage', the pop star might be referring to the elevated platforms Kanye used at his Saint Pablo tour. She also sings a phone conversation with the line "The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why?/ 'Cause she's dead" that is obviously linked to that Famous feud.
For an added touch, the song's lyric video is as dark as we predicted it to be. Think Emily the Strange mixed in with cartoonish Sin City elements and plenty of snakes because that's what Taylor is all about now. If this track is any indication, we can expect more shade-throwing songs from her upcoming album.
Reputation will be out on 10 November. Pre-order it here.
