If you have seen her performing gigs around town or heard her songs on the radio or even bumped into her at ELLE Malaysia's launch party, you'd know that Penang-born singer Bihzhu is something special.

Not only does she have an amazing voice, she uses it for good by constantly encouraging her audience to love themselves. And her latest folksy, jazzy new single, Bright Veins, is no exception. The song talks about being positive even though the future is uncertain.

As well as performing at international events such as the Jarasum International Jazz Festival and  Cheonggyecheon World Music Festival in South Korea, Bihzhu has also tried her hand at acting, performing in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, staged by Pan Productions, last May.

We are cruising through Wednesday with Bright Veins in our ears. Have a listen, then get the new single here.
