Garry Marshall, director of the classic '90s romantic comedy Pretty Woman, has finally confirmed that he is turning the movie into a musical, following speculation last year. "I had so much fun doing Pretty Woman the first time around that I'm trying it again as a Broadway musical," the 80-year-old said in a statement obtained by People.

"We have secured the rights to do a stage adaptation. To see Vivian and Edward brought to life again with music will hopefully be something to cheer about the second time around too," he said. Is it too much to ask for Richard Gere and Julia Roberts to star in it too?
