Lana Del Rey and Hailee Steinfeld each just released new songs, both of which we think are similar in terms of how they preach girl power.

Of course, Lana's High By The Beach (from her upcoming album Honeymoon) is expectedly a little bit darker, and she delivers the message "I'll do it on my own / Don't need your money, money to get me what I want" with all the eeriness we know her for.

Hailee's Love Myself, on the other hand, is an upbeat teenage anthem – we don't mean that in a belittling way – that is already stuck in our heads. She sings us a reminder we could all use often: "Gonna love myself, no, I don't need anybody else / Can't help myself, no, I don't need anybody else / Anytime that I like / I love me."

This is the 18-year-old's debut single, showing that she has musical talents far beyond what she showed in Pitch Perfect 2. Expect her music video to drop soon.
