When Ocean's Eleven came out in 2001, we thought it was great, amazing even because George Clooney (duh). But now, we think the film's spinoff, Ocean's Eight, is going to be better thanks to it's all-female cast of the eight badass women that will star in it.

The upcoming film is close to finalising its cast, so far consisting of Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett as well as newly announced names: Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and American rapper Nora Lum (aka Awkwafina). One spot remains for everyone to speculate; there's just no telling who it will be!

Hollywood reboots might be a tiring concept at the moment, but we can't deny how exciting it would be to see the new super eight pull off heists with as much style as George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon in the original franchise.

"It's a pretty similar tone. You know, [Ocean's Eleven's director] Steven Soderberghand I are incredibly close friends, and we would not have done this if we weren't," said director Gary Ross. "This is very much an extension and a continuation."
